Important Notice Regarding Capital Campaign Donations
To ensure your gift is properly credited, all Capital Campaign donations must be made directly to the Capital Campaign. Contributions placed in regular or special collection envelopes will be applied to those specific collections.
If you include a Capital Campaign donation within another collection envelope, please be sure to clearly write “Capital Campaign” in the memo line. The designation must specifically state Capital Campaign in order to be credited correctly.
Capital Campaign Important Reminder.
We kindly appeal to Parishioners who have made a pledge to please begin fulfilling their pledges. For those considering onetime contribution, we greatly welcome your support. Your timely contributions are essential as we work together toward securing the necessary support from the Diocese to begin critical repairs to our Roof and HVAC System. Your timely contributions are crucial. The Diocese requires that we have 75% of our $750,000, goal. That is, $562,500, in cash on hand before we can move forward with these critical repairs. To date we only have $348,480.66 on hand or 61% of our CASH on hand goal.
Our Capital Campaign continues to make progress. Any donations go directly to the Campaign. St. Cecelia receives 100% of your donation. Additional Pledge Forms are in the Parish Office or donate via Faith Direct. Thank you for your consideration in this important effort in our Parish.

Over the years, our church building has weathered wear and tear, and now, several critical infrastructure projects demand our immediate attention, following their approximate cost:Structural Repairs$330,000Persistent leaks and structural wear, infestations and other issues that cannot wait any longer, and have been worsening over time. Now these structural issues are reaching a breaking point all at once and must be addressed promptly.
HVAC Replacement & Upgrade
$838,000The outdated HVAC system in our church has become increasingly inefficient leading to heightened energy cost and diminished comfort level.Floor Damage Repair & Replacement$74,000The flooring in our church, including carpeting has seen years of heavy foot traffic and needs replacement..The 2026 Bishop's Annual AppealParish obligation: $64,000Each year, the Diocese of Metuchen conducts the Annual Appeal to sustain the vital ministries and services that support our parishes, schools, and those in need throughout the Diocese. The 2026 Annual Appeal is distinct from the Capital Campaign and serves a different purpose. Gifts made to the Bishop’s Annual Appeal provide immediate support to diocesan programs and are directed straight to the Diocese to further its mission and outreach.Stretch Goals

Lord, Our God You called your disciples to build up your church until the end of time. As we grow our parish community, we ask your continued blessing on all those who will assist us. Bless their labors as they turn our dreams into reality. Fill us with the graces that we need to continue our stewardship responsibilities so that, under your care, this endeavor may come to a successful completion.
