About the Capital Campaign
OUR URGENT NEEDS
Over the years, our church building has weathered wear and tear, and now, several critical infrastructure projects demand our immediate attention.
1. CHURCH ROOF REPAIR - Persistent leaks and structural concerns pose a threat to the integrity of our worship space.
Approximate cost: $330,000.
2. HVAC SYSTEM UPGRADE - The outdated HVAC system in our church has become increasingly inefficient leading to heightened energy cost and diminished comfort level.
Approximate cost: $838,000.
3. CHURCH CARPETING/FLOORING UPGRADE - The flooring in our church, including carpeting has seen years of heavy foot traffic.
Approximate cost: $74,000.
4. BISHOP'S ANNUAL APPEAL - Each year the Diocese of Metuchen reaches out to help fund the many ministries of the Diocese.
Our goal for 2025 is $64,000.Stretch Goals
100% of all funds over the initial goal of $750,000 will go into the parish reserves.“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For the measure you give will be the measure you get back.”

Lord, Our God You called your disciples to build up your church until the end of time. As we grow our parish community, we ask your continued blessing on all those who will assist us. Bless their labors as they turn our dreams into reality. Fill us with the graces that we need to continue our stewardship responsibilities so that, under your care, this endeavor may come to a successful completion. Help us to realize that our sacrifice for the growth of the Catholic faith and the future of Saint Cecelia Church is part of your divine plan. Amen!
